Shipping & Returns

New Zealand Shipping

  • Shipping fees calculated at checkout

  • North Island: Orders typically arrive within 2–3 business days.

  • South Island: Please allow 3–4 business days.

  • Rural Deliveries: May require an additional day.

NZ Returns & Exchanges

If you’re not completely happy with your purchase, we’re here to help.

  • Email hello@thematcollective.co.nz within 7 days of receiving your order to request an exchange or refund.

  • Items must be returned and received by us within 14 days of delivery.

  • Products must be unworn, unused, unsoiled, with tags attached and in their original packaging.

  • Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility. We strongly recommend using a tracked courier service.

  • The Mat Collective is not liable for items lost in transit. It is the customer’s responsibility to track their parcel until it arrives with us.

  • In case of an exchange, the customer may be charged shipping for the new item.

  • Include your original invoice with the return for faster processing.

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method (credit card, PayPal, or Square) once the return has been received.

  • Refunds apply to full-priced items only and exclude original or return shipping costs.

  • Please note: We are unable to offer refunds or exchanges on sale or discounted items.

International Shipping

We currently ship to:

  • Australia: fees calculated at checkout

  • USA: fees calculated at checkout

  • Canada: fees calculated at checkout

Please note that any customs duties or taxes are the responsibility of the customer.

International Returns & Exchanges

  • Contact hello@thematcollective.co.nz within 7 days of receiving your order.

  • Returns must be received by us within 30 days of delivery.

  • Items must be unused, unwashed, in original condition, with tags and packaging intact.

  • Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility. All international returns must include a valid tracking number.

  • The Mat Collective is not responsible for items lost in transit and cannot issue refunds for parcels that don’t reach us.

  • For change-of-mind returns, international return shipping and re-shipping costs are not covered.

  • Clearly label your return “For exchange or refund” to help avoid additional customs charges.

  • Include your original invoice with the return.

  • Refunds are only available for full-priced items and exclude any shipping costs.

  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method after the return is received and cleared.

  • Please note: We cannot offer refunds or exchanges on sale or discounted items.

Faulty or Incorrect Items

We want you to love everything you order from us. If your item is faulty, damaged, or if you received the wrong product, please contact us at hello@thematcollective.co.nz as soon as possible so we can make it right.
