A Memorable Morning of Pilates, Music, and Inspiration.
We are beyond thrilled to share the success of our first-ever Pink Ribbon event in support of Breast Cancer Foundation NZ. With the generous support of our sponsors and the enthusiasm of our community, we organised a weekend filled with Pilates, live djing, inspiring speakers, and a delicious breakfast. It was a truly unforgettable experience, bringing together fitness enthusiasts, survivors, and supporters alike.
All together we raised a total of $1050 - WOW!
Our talented friends Chelsea Kawana from pilatesFIT and Marysa from Barrefigure guided us through an invigorating 40-minute Pilates class suitable for all levels. From beginners to experienced practitioners, everyone had the opportunity to join in and benefit from their expertise. The atmosphere was incredible as we moved, stretched, and strengthened our bodies, creating a sense of unity and camaraderie.
Adding to the excitement, we had the amazing Arii Jade and Zeisha spinning tunes live during the Pilates class. Their vibrant music selection infused the room with energy, ensuring that smiles never left our faces.
The combination of movement and music created an immersive experience that truly brought the event to life!
One of the highlights of the weekend was hearing the incredibly brave Sarah Bougen and Karin Horen share their journey as a breast cancer survivors. Their words resonated deeply, reminding us of the strength and resilience within us all. Sarah and Karin's story inspired and uplifted, serving as a powerful reminder of the importance of raising awareness around early detection and supporting breast cancer research. Thanks to Infinite Aesthetics and Devonport Flowers for spoiling our speakers with some goodies.
Fuelling our bodies after the invigorating workout, we indulged in a delightful breakfast spread. Thanks to the creative minds at Sandbank and Wildflour, we enjoyed a DIY smoothie bowl station that allowed us to customise our own nutritious creations. Just Jess Boujee Bakery impressed us with a mouthwatering selection of bakery delights and raw treats, satisfying our cravings for both sweet and savoury treats. And of course, Innerbloom kept us caffeinated and alert with their delicious cold brew coffee.
As a token of our appreciation, guests were spoiled with a candle from Mila Mae and Co, a scrunchie from Lush and Luxe Hair, a serum tan mist from Nextann, a lip gloss from Peachy Lip Co and teeth whitening strips from The Whitening Co to take home as a memento of the day. These thoughtful souvenirs served as a reminder of the incredible support and sense of community that we fostered together. None of this would have been possible without the funky and vibrant space provided by Cool Cool Studio, and decorated by Champers Party Shop and Global Signage Concepts.
Our Pink Ribbon event was an incredible success, thanks to the support of our sponsors and the enthusiastic participation of our community. Together, we raised both awareness and $1050 for Breast Cancer Foundation NZ and celebrated the strength and resilience of survivors.
The energy, laughter, and inspiration that filled the room will stay with us forever. We are immensely grateful to everyone who made this event possible and look forward to many more events in the future.
